Our Family

We are Daniel and Rachel Bill, missionaries to Honduras. Below is our testimony of how Christ has worked in our lives and led us to Honduras.

Daniel’s Testimony

Daniel grew up in a Christian family in Douglasville, Georgia. He is the youngest of four brothers and was saved when he was seven years old. When he was a young teenager, his family began working in a Spanish ministry associated with his church. God used this experience in his life to spark a burden for Hispanic people. In 2015, God led Daniel to begin working with Hispanics in a greater capacity. After taking a survey trip to Honduras, he realized God wanted him to return. He arrived in May 2016 and began helping out in a local church with discipleship and music. He also taught sixth grade in a private school. After returning to the states, Daniel continued working on his masters in missions from Maranatha Baptist Seminary and graduated in May of 2020.

Rachel’s Testimony

Rachel also grew up in a Christian family in Little Mountain, SC and is the fifth of seven children. After talking with her mom about salvation, Rachel received Christ as her Savior at the age of six and was baptized a few years later. While growing up, Rachel loved to read, especially missionary biographies. This sparked the beginning of her interest in foreign missions. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, she taught third grade for four years. Her interest for missions was revived when she visited an orphanage in Uganda one summer. After that, she traveled on several short term trips, seeking God’s will for her life. In the summer of 2017, she attended a missions camp where she surrendered to missions, even if it meant serving God single.

It was just a couple of weeks later that, through an amazing set of circumstances, Daniel and Rachel met in the small town of Campamento, Honduras. Rachel was part of a short term missions trip that arrived in the same little town Daniel was completing his missions internship. Daniel and Rachel were married the following year, and in God’s perfect plan became a team to reach Honduras for the Lord.
